Our slate is
mined from a local quarry here in eastern Pennsylvania. The high
quality of the slate makes it an excellent surface for painting,
engraving, or sandblasting. We hand cut the slate into the various
shapes shown above.

Slates come
pre-drilled with 3/16" holes and include a leather strap for
hanging. Basket Tie Ons, which are drilled with 1/8" holes, do
not include a strap or ribbon.

If you would
like to purchase the slates without holes,
we will deduct 20¢
from the listed price. Please list this request for no holes in the comments
box on the order form.

If ordering
slates without holes, please indicate if you want straps. If no
choice of straps is indicated on an order requesting no holes
drilled, we will not send straps.

If you are
interested in having us custom cut slate for you in shapes or sizes
not listed, please inquire about them in the comments box.

Shipping and
handling charges are quoted per order, based on the estimated weight
of the slate and the shipping address. To receive a shipping and
handling quote for a potential craft slate order, please use the
order form and check "Quote" as the payment option. We will
respond promptly.

Shipping time
will vary for craft slate orders, depending on our current volume of
orders at a given time, as well as other factors such as the weather.
In general, the majority of orders are shipped within 7 days after
receipt of payment. |
